Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to become lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Jude Law in “Skeleton Crew” and more stars from a galaxy far, far away. The holographic circus that entertains Neil’s little siblings is the same one Chewbacca’s family sees in the infamous “Star Wars Holiday Special” (1978). Seen in AniMats Crazy Cartoon Cast: Silly Old Deadly Bear (2022). Knowing that this series will get a lot of hate due to the ups and downs of the last few Star Wars series, I’m happy to say that this is an upward trend. So far… The first two episodes don’t do anything new and aren’t very original, but that doesn’t matter because the series delivers on everything well. The cast and their acting are great, the costumes and sets are probably the best we’ve seen since Andor, the script, especially the hilarious banter between the kids, was good. Again, nothing new, but still captivating and I look forward to watching more. It gives me strong Treasure Planet vibes. As someone who doesn’t like the newer Star Wars series, I was surprised by Skeleton Crew. I really hope anyone who is mildly interested or even annoyed by the newer series gives it a try. Don’t let the “kids” stuff put you off. Star Wars is made for everyone, and that’s the point.
